Barcelona AI Forum

Where AI meets business, technology and society.

A multidisciplinary forum bringing together engineers, marketers, creators, entrepreneurs, researchers and business leaders to share knowledge and explore the practical impact of artificial intelligence.

Founded in Barcelona. Independent and in development. Open to professionals across disciplines.

AI is changing every discipline

The conversation should include everyone.

The most important AI questions aren't purely technical. They also concern how teams work, how businesses invest, how creatives produce, how people learn and how institutions respond. Barcelona AI Forum brings those perspectives into one place.

Learn
Practical, accessible knowledge across roles and sectors.
Connect
Meet people whose experience differs from yours.
Contribute
Share real work and help shape better discussion around applied AI.

A meeting point for more than one profession

In 1859 Ildefons Cerdà cut the corners off every block of the Eixample, and each crossing became a small square with room to stop and talk. The Forum works the same way: the useful conversations happen where disciplines meet. Choose yours.

Adoption, workflow design and measurable value.

Portrait of Alex Andrushevich

Founded on hands-on technical experience

Barcelona AI Forum was initiated by Alex Andrushevich (Alex Andru), a software and AI engineer and open-source contributor known online as QuantGeekDev. His public work includes MCP Framework and other tooling around the Model Context Protocol.

The Forum is meant to connect that practical engineering perspective with the experience of professionals across business, marketing, creative industries and public life. Over time its credibility should rest on its speakers, contributors and published work, not on one person.

More about the Forum and its founder

Bring AI from curiosity to useful work

We are developing practical education and advisory offerings for organisations that want to help teams use AI responsibly, identify high-value workflows and evaluate implementation opportunities.

  • AI literacy workshops

Practical training for roles and departments.

  • Adoption assessments

Opportunities, limitations, workflows and organisational readiness.

  • Prototypes and integration support

Scoped technical work with evaluation and oversight.

Discuss a training or consulting need

No fixed prices and no certificates: every engagement is scoped with you first.

Local conversations. European relevance.

We want to contribute practical perspectives to discussions about how AI is adopted, governed and taught across Europe. Over time, this may include public events, research, collaboration and responses to open consultations.

Barcelona AI Forum is an independent initiative. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Union or the European Commission.

Frequently asked questions

What is Barcelona AI Forum?

A new independent, multidisciplinary initiative based in Barcelona that brings professionals together to discuss, learn and collaborate around practical uses and implications of artificial intelligence.

Do I need to be an AI engineer to join?

No. The Forum is for people in marketing, business, creative work, education, research, policy and technical fields alike.

Is the Forum an association or an EU institution?

Neither. It is currently a founder-led initiative run by Alex Andrushevich. It is not a registered association, and it is not an institution of the European Union or endorsed by it. If its legal form changes, this answer will change with it.

Will there be in-person and online events?

Both are planned. Dates and registration links will be published once they are confirmed, here and to the mailing list.

Can my organisation request AI training or consulting?

Yes. Use the enquiry form on the For organisations page. Availability and scope are agreed individually for each request.

How can I contribute?

Join the mailing list, or get in touch about a talk, demonstration, workshop or collaboration.
